Peter Goodwin-Owner/Lead Guide
Peter is a licensed Alaskan guide and experienced outdoorsman. Born in Homer, AK, his love for nature and adventure began in 1992 when he began exploring the backcountry with his uncle, an Alaskan bush pilot. Peter began his guiding career in 1999 and started Alaskan Ventures in 2008. He, his wife Katie and son William, live in Soldotna, Alaska.

Jeremy Davis- Bush Pilot
Books will be written about his life. As a seasoned bush pilot and lodge host, he provides air and water transportation for our journeys. Jeremy has over 18,000 hours of Alaska bush flying experience. He resides in Lake Clark National Park with his wife Michelle, and five children.
Kevin Beasley-Guide/Photography Guide
Kevin has been a part of Alaska for over 15 years. Although he resides in the southeast, he returns to Alaska every year to guide clients to the remote bush country. Kevin’s main interest is photography and heads up our photography/wildlife tours.
Andrew is the real definition of an Alaska bush guide! 10 years guiding in some of the most extreme parts of Alaska have weathered him into the toughest and most knowledgeable guide on our staff. Andrew is a full time guide, private pilot and lives with his wife, Rachel, in Palmer, Ak.
David grew up in central Kansas with a passion for the outdoors. Making frequent camping and skiing trips with his family to Colorado reinforced this passion. David began guiding after a trip with Alaskan Ventures in 2009. He returns every year to assist us with our adventure trips.
Katie Goodwin- Host
Katie first met Peter while studying veterinary medicine at Auburn University. After traveling to Alaska, she became captivated by its beauty and tranquility and grander. They soon married and moved to Alaska where they founded Alaskan Ventures. She assists in the management of Alaskan Ventures, and is a small animal veterinarian in Soldotna, AK
